Here is what you need to know about being a vendor:
Online Vendor Registration will be open and checks must be postmarked by 12/1/2014.
Tables
Tables are 71 x 29.5 inches. (just shy of 6 feet) Each table will have 2 chairs behind it. 2 vendor wristbands will be included in the table charge. Additional wristbands may be purchased for $10 each.
If you do not need electricity tables are $50/each. If you need electricity tables are $75/each.
Due to the proximity to electricity, if you need any table with electricity we must charge you for all of your tables the "electricity table rate," unless you are OK with your tables not being connected.
If you need some arrangement other than table space please email Laura at [email protected] to discuss what your needs are to see if they can be accommodated and what the rate would be.
Electricity
* We have a limited number of tables to which we can provide electricity. These will be available on a first come first serve basis. * If you purchase a table with electricity you will be within 20 feet of an electrical outlet. * Each table will be limited to use of a single plug. You may use up to one extension cord and one 6 plug power strip. * Each vendor is responsible for bringing their own extension cord and/or power strip.
Internet
You can purchase WiFi access for $25.
If you purchase WiFi access please list up to 3 websites that you *must* have access in order to conduct business on the vendor registration form. We will do our best to test these websites with the district filter and submit a request for the sites to be opened if they are currently blocked. Please understand that the district *will not* open any site it deems to have inappropriate content, or contains phishing or spyware. Also understand that it is not possible for us to test any websites that are password protected.
Criminal Background Checks
To ensure the safety of our students *EVERY* person that works at a vendor table must fill out a CCISD volunteer application at the time of vendor registration. This application will run a criminal background check on the person applying and the person applying will be notified via email if they have been approved. Staffing Changes
We understand that staffing change between the date you sign up for the booth and the date of the event. You can substitute workers as long as you have done the following: 1) The New Worker has submitted a volunteer registration form no later than 1/5/15. 2) You have emailed LaDonna at LLITTLEJ AT CCISD DOT NET about the changes prior to 1/15/15. This email must include the first and last name, drivers licence number and DOB of the people that are going to work the event.
If you are not sure who you are going to use to staff the event, it is best to have ALL possible people register with the district as volunteers now, then email LaDonna at [email protected] your final staffing decisions prior to 1/5/15. Other important notes:
- Vendors are responsible for sales tax, documentation, etc. - All vendors should have a Texas Sales Tax permit. You can apply for this permit at: http://www.window.state.tx.us/taxpermit/ - No products or displays with nudity, risque attire, or adult themes will be allowed. Please keep in mind that while we are open to the public, this is a a school and this is an all age event!) - Booth space is sold on a first come, first serve basis. - We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. - No refunds will be given for any reason.
